Urgent requirement: bar bender and fixer (Arkansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Lincoln County, Arkansas. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Day-to-day duties: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust Part-time with flexible hours.
