Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Highland County, Virginia. You will work on a lift modernisation project. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Your main tasks: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
