Now hiring: we are hiring a press operator in Lafayette County, Wisconsin. On the job you will handle: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
