Now hiring: sheet metal welder (Kogi State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Ogori/Magongo, Kogi State. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On a typical shift you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
