Single needle operator — Bath and North East Somerset

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a single needle operator in Bath and North East Somerset, England. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently The role involves: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes Full-time, day shift.
