Great opportunity: cold store insulation technician (Illinois)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Clay County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy building site. You should have: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel The role involves: • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
