Urgent requirement: we are hiring a car painter in Dickenson County, Virginia. The job is at an accident repair centre. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns The role involves: • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying Full-time with occasional weekends.
