Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Essex County, New Jersey. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Day-to-day duties: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers Rotating shifts.
