Finishing presser wanted in Tensas Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a finishing presser in Tensas Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep On a typical shift you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Contact us to fix an interview.
