Foundry labourer • Akoko South West, Ondo State

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Akoko South West, Ondo State. The job is at a busy iron foundry. Day-to-day duties: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
