Urgent requirement: we are hiring a beldar in Wase, Plateau State. The job is with a civil contractor. Ideal candidate: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times Day-to-day duties: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
