On a typical shift you will hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
