Dishwashing attendant • City of Roanoke, Virginia

Join our team: we are hiring a dishwashing attendant in City of Roanoke, Virginia. You will be based in a hospital canteen. What we are looking for: • Willing to work evenings, weekends and split shifts • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates You will top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
