Sample machinist — Kay County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sample machinist in Kay County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. You will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Full-time, day shift.
