Day-to-day duties: • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
