Great opportunity: die-casting operator (California)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a die-casting operator in San Benito County, California. You will be based on the moulding line. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Day to day you will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
