Commis chef wanted in Saint Croix County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a commis chef in Saint Croix County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. You should have: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets The role involves label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch.
