Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Woodford County, Illinois. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Your main tasks: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust Full-time with occasional weekends.
