Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances The role involves set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges.
