Ideal candidate: • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer On the job you will handle: • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
