Steel erection rigger • North Northamptonshire, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in North Northamptonshire, England. The job is at a shipyard. Your main tasks: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Read lift plans and method statements before starting Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Six days a week, one day off.
