Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Stark County, Illinois. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 6+ years on the tools preferred.
