Join our team: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Chautauqua County, New York. You will be based at a double glazing firm. What we are looking for: • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units On the job you will handle: • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers Full-time with occasional weekends.
