Concrete pump mate • Big Horn County, Montana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Big Horn County, Montana. The job is at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Day to day you will fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $21 per hour plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
