Reinforcement fitter • Oluyole, Oyo State

Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Oluyole, Oyo State. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Day-to-day duties: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites 6+ years on the tools preferred.
