Immediate opening: site safety steward (Taraba State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site safety steward in Wukari, Taraba State. You will work in a chemical processing unit. Day to day you will verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment. You should have: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. We offer ₦1,600 per hour plus benefits.
