You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Day-to-day duties: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics 4+ years on the tools preferred. $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
