Civil works labourer • Russell County, Kentucky

Immediate opening: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Russell County, Kentucky. You will work on a building construction site. You should have: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites On the job you will handle: • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations Rotating shifts.
