Steel fixing chargehand — Jackson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Jackson County, Tennessee. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Requirements: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Day-to-day duties: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
