GMAW welder wanted in Forest County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Forest County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test On the job you will handle: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
