Urgent requirement: sample machinist (Benue State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sample machinist in Obi, Benue State. The job is at a busy garment factory. The role involves topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges. You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams ₦105,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
