Immediate opening: we are hiring a car service technician in Rensselaer County, New York. You will work in a roadside repair garage. Requirements: • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance • Own set of hand tools On a typical shift you will carry out oil and filter changes; bleed the brake hydraulic lines and check pad wear; replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends; replace alternators, starter motors and batteries; estimate repair costs and order the right parts; diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool. $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
