Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Dinwiddie County, Virginia. Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Day to day you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
