Aluminium tig welder — Tazewell County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Tazewell County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) You will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions.
