Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Herkimer County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Herkimer County, New York. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. You will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. Ideal candidate: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $5,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
