Scaffolding erector — Fika

We are recruiting: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Fika, Yobe State. You will work at a shipyard. Day-to-day duties: • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope Requirements: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
