We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in San Joaquin County, California. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. $130 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
