Fire and safety officer — Jessamine County

Join our team: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Jessamine County, Kentucky. You will be based at an oil and gas facility. Your main tasks: • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Full-time with occasional weekends.
