Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather The role involves set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use.
