Great opportunity: we are hiring a finishing presser in Worth County, Iowa. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases The role involves meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
