Immediate opening: we are hiring a production welder in Green County, Wisconsin. Your main tasks: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
