Now hiring: we are hiring a HSE officer in Merthyr Tydfil County Borough, Wales. You will work on a high-rise building project. Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions The role involves enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. £1,850 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
