Great opportunity: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Herefordshire, England. Requirements: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • CSCS card or willing to obtain one Your main tasks: • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
