Building site helper — Zapata County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a building site helper in Zapata County, Texas. The job is on a commercial building project. You will dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site. Requirements: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Physically fit and comfortable working at height At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
