Stainless steel welder • Lincoln County, New Mexico

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Lincoln County, New Mexico. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
