Ladle pourer • Wetzel County, West Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Wetzel County, West Virginia. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. You will make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
