Join our team: we are hiring an auto painter in Ketchikan Gateway Borough, Alaska. You will be based at an accident repair centre. The role involves wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code. Requirements: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Good eye for colour matching and blending At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
