Shuttering carpenter • Logan County, Colorado

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Logan County, Colorado. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. Your main tasks: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists Requirements: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Good eye for detail and a clean finish At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
