Now hiring: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Faulkner County, Arkansas. The job is at a shipyard. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces 6+ years on the tools preferred. $8,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
