Join our team: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a shipyard. Your main tasks: • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid What we are looking for: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
